Gardens behind Notre Dame Cathedral
My kitchen remodel is still going on so I thought I would share a few photos from my last trip to Paris.
Each one brings back wonderful memories. It’s a beautiful Spring day so come with me
on a walk through the city.
This post is linked to FOODIE FRIDAY at Rattlebridge Farm.
I don’t know how people live through remodels! I could hardly handle the work we had done a couple years ago, and most of it was outside!!!
Loved your Paris pics! Italians park that way too!!! My girlfriends son just left for Paris on Sunday. He will be spending 6 months there to study. What an experience!!!
XO Kris
Wow, lucky him! Remodels are no fun at all. The painter will be here next week and then I should be able to start the clean up. Can’t believe where I am finding dust.

What a fantastic post. I love when you share anything French.
I hope your kitchen comes together soon, it is difficult not being able to prepare a meal when you like to cook.

Thanks Madonna. I love to share photos and relive the highlights of my trip. I want to get back into my kitchen and do some baking but can’t until the painting is finished which, hopefully, will be the end of next week.

I hope you win the lottery, Rett. I would definitely be your guide through the city. We would have such a grand time. I would love to win the lottery too but I guess that means I would have to buy a ticket…lol.

In the summer of 1978, I got the rare and great opportunity to spend the last weekend of June and the first full week of August in Paris (the month of July was split between the Cote d’Azur and St Etienne). A college roommate had gotten a short-term au pair position and I got to spend the month of July with her and the family she worked for and we travelled throughout the Riviera on the weekends. My oldest niece had gotten a job at a music company in Paris on St Honore and I got to stay with her during my Paris days. While she was at work, I walked or took the metro places. I got to shop at Printemps, too! I walked to the Louvre every day and saw so much of the artwork there. I still remember it all even while my pictures got destroyed some years ago. The memories in my mind outlast the pictures and that is pretty cool. Perhaps one day, I’ll get another chance to return. I thank you, for sharing your trip!
Thank you, Lori. I’m happy you enjoy the post. It sounds like you had a wonderful stay in Paris. I hope you can return someday soon.

Oh how I’d love to be back in Paris, eating crunchy baguettes and great cheese and drinking good wine.
I’m sure you’re getting to “escape” the same way amid your kitchen chaos. Post pix of the kitchen before and after.

Love, love! Think I have mentioned my daughter lived there for 7 years, so I spent a month with her every year. Was totally charmed.
Id love to remodel my kitchen in this house! But I had my chance at the old apartment, really can’t go through it again.
What a wonderful idea to post these while your kitchen is still being remodeled! It makes me warm just looking at them

This post brings back great memories of Paris for me! I have a great story about the happenings at the Louvre and the Eiffel Towel, and a couple of more places. It’s quite a city and I’m ready to go back. Thanks for this interesting post, Cathy!
