Okay okay okay so on my SLC breakfast tour we are prioritizing mostly new restaurants, but there’s definitely a few I’ve eaten at before that I want to include. Because these are still newer to the valley so I feel like they qualify for this list. Starting off with a staple, today I picked up a breakfast burrito from Beaumont and realized she must be included.
I love Beaumont for many reasons but the top two are convenience and freshness. If you like to play in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is arguably the best place to fill you up before your adventures. I LOVE to grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive through makes it quick and accessible without having to sacrifice quality. Don’t get me wrong, I love a drive through burrito from all the Mexican spots but often I tend to find myself feeling quite ill from all the grease, especially if I am pushing my body physically right after.
Beaumonts breakfast burrito is filled with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn and bell peppers but what really puts the icing on the cake is the sauce. This comes as no surprise, the key to a good breakfast burrito is ALWAYS the sauce. The creamy tomatillo esc dressing gives this burrito all that much more flavor.
Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard Beaumont has so much more to offer than just a yummy breakfast burrito. From great coffee and pastries to the yummiest burrata salad, Beaumont is reliable. My recommendation can’t come without a small warning though. Great food always draws a crowd and Beaumont is no exception. On weekends you are guaranteed to see a whole host of people gathered outside. If you just want to grab pastries and coffee don’t let this scare you! It is easy to run and grab the essentials or hop in the drive through but if you are looking to sit down, make sure to plan for a bit of a wait on the weekends. From a great patio to beautifully aesthetic interior I can’t recommend Beaumont enough.
